This is the easiest recipe to make matcha chocolate. There are only 2 ingredients and tastes amazing! So, if you're ready here we go.
Serving size: 17 chocolate heartsCook time: 15-20 minutes
Prep time: 15-20 minutes
Totals time: 30-35 minutes
Ingredients:
1. 225g (1 cup) of white chocolate
2. 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of matcha powder
Please note: you can add more or less matcha powder depending on personal preference. More matcha makes it darker and stronger in taste. In my video (below), I used 1/2 a teaspoon. There is only a very light matcha taste that is hardly noticeable.
Directions:
1. Start a double boiler
2. When the water is hot, put in the white chocolate and let it melt.
3. Stir occasionally to help speed up the process.
4. Turn off the heat when all the chocolate has melted.
5. Add the matcha powder.
6. Mix well until everything has combined.
7. Pour chocolate mixture into a mould.
8. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
9. Pop it out of the mould.
And now it's ready to serve!
Here is a video demonstration on how to make this. This recipe will be used for my future making projects, so be sure to come back here for reference. :)
